If your pet had a theme song, what would it be?
I thought of this the other day when Sam was lounging near the entrance to the kitchen, her legs outstretched. Sam has incredibly long legs. It is as if she has no shoulders!
That’s when it hit me: “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” by The Hollies, a 1972 hit single.
It’s those legs. They go on…forever.
What other songs might work?
“Black”—Pearl jam
“Paint it Black”—The Rolling Stones
“Black Dog”—Led Zeppelin. Oh! That’s a good one!
“Man in Black”—Johnny Cash. Well, Sam is a girl.
I could go on. But “Long Cool” seems to fit the best.
Now, if I can only get Alexa to play it every time Sam walks in the room.
