Sam in Isolation

Sam is still getting her walks during these crazy times. Probably more than usual. Everyone, including her, needs to get out and walk around, even if it is six feet from everyone and every other dog.

But while in the house, Sam’s obsession with socks has escalated rapidly.

Here she is with a pile of them. Each one stolen from the hamper, the laundry room, or directly snatched out of the dryer.

In my book, Walks with Sam, out this September, there is an entire chapter about this strange yet endearing behavior of hers. And this current world status has only heightened the realization that Sam is a sock fiend.
